SAKURA MATSURI

 わたしは うたいました. それから みました。それから ともだちに はなしました。
I thoroughly enjoyed the Sakura Matsuri as I saw other performances! Also the snacks were good as well. I also invited alot of friends to watch so it was alot of FUN!

Recently, I have also been listening to the jujutsu Kaizen opening Aizo as it was played in the fight between 2 of my favorite characters. It uses a lot of reptation but that's why its so catchy. 

Katakana and various sounds.

 

I apologize for not keeping up with the weekly posts! I shall revisit those in due time! However something that has piqued my interest is the usage of katakana in anime. I've been reminiscing on what anime I've watched as a kid and one that stood out was JoJo's bizarre adventure in which the katakana for "Go Go Go Go" was used (as shown above as well!). Another example I've found is in the manga berserk where the katana for ga was used. Its really cool since an exclamation mark to accent it as well!. 

Majority of katakana I've encountered are sound effects and I think its in katakana since it's usage is based on sound rather than spelling.

こんばんは! I have been recently looking at Japanese food. Especially street food. On you tube there are many channels that feature Japanese food but some of the best are made by a Channel called Alvin Zhou Films. Their channel has the best mix of story and documentary which makes it an amazing watch. The ones I recommend are World's Number 1 Sushi as well as The world's most legendary ramen shop in Japan. I enjoy food to a grand extent so I hope to try some food during the cherry blossom festival!.

week one.

 おはよう!  Week one of studying Japanese was incredibly fun! The class was very informative and I'm getting better with beginner phrases. My spelling and recollection of  the alphabet was a little week and I want to get better at it. Hopefully I will reach mastery soon!
