I apologize for not keeping up with the weekly posts! I shall revisit those in due time! However something that has piqued my interest is the usage of katakana in anime. I've been reminiscing on what anime I've watched as a kid and one that stood out was JoJo's bizarre adventure in which the katakana for "Go Go Go Go" was used (as shown above as well!). Another example I've found is in the manga berserk where the katana for ga was used. Its really cool since an exclamation mark to accent it as well!.

Great observation. Before this class, I didn't know the difference between the Japanese letters, but since learning about katakana, I have noticed its prevalent use in describing sound effects.
